Copies of Form 1099-NEC for the 2020 tax year must be sent to recipients on or before February 01, 2021. Copy B and Copy 2 are the recipient copies that need to be sent before the deadline.
If you have opted for the postal mailing option while filing your 1099-NEC through ExpressEfile, it will reach your recipients on time. Even if you haven't opted for the postal mailing add-on, you can download the form from the Dashboard and issue it manually or simply email the form directly to the recipient from the Dashboard.
