Form 1099-NEC copies must be sent to recipients on or before January 31st. Make sure the forms you provide to contractors are legible and clear with properly addressed and mailed before the due date.
Two copies must be furnished:
- Copy B: For recipient's records
- Copy 2: To be used in reporting the recipient's state, city, or local tax return.
