How to bulk file Form W-2/1099-NEC/1099-MISC?

With ExpressEfile, you can easily bulk file the information returns, such as Form W-2, 1099-NEC, and 1099-MISC, using our bulk upload feature. It will take only a few minutes to complete the filing process. 

Here's how to bulk file Form W2/1099-NEC/1099-MISC:

1. Sign in to your ExpressEfile account
2. Go to Dashboard and click the Start New Form
3. Click the Bulk Filing button corresponding to the form you are filing
   
   
4. Download our template file by clicking the Download Template button
   
   
5. Add return information such as payer, recipient, and applicable form information to the file. Please make sure you are not changing the sheet name, column headers and its format.
6. Upload the updated file from your local storage. Your file will be processed. If the return volume is very high, it may take some time to process your file. You will be notified through an email once it is processed.
   
   
7. If there are no errors on your file, click the Continue Filing. 
8. If there are errored returns, view the errors, export the errored file, make corrections, and upload the file. 
9. Preview the draft form by clicking the Preview button. You may edit a return if you find any mistakes.
10. Make payment and complete the order

Your returns will be filed with the respective agency, IRS or SSA. You will receive the status of your returns by email once they are processed.
