After filing corrections for Form 1099, you must send copies of the corrected forms to the recipients.
If you have opted for postal mailing while filing corrections through ExpresseFile, a copy of the corrected return will be mailed to the recipients after the IRS accepts the return.
If you have not opted for the postal mailing add-on, you can send the corrected return once the IRS accepts it. To send the forms, you can choose to download the form and print and furnish it manually or email it directly from your account.
