After filing Form W-2c for an employee, you must send copies of the corrected form to the employee.
If you have opted for the postal mailing option while filing Form W-2c using ExpresseFile, a copy of Form W-2c will be mailed to the employee on your behalf after the SSA accepts the return.
In case you haven’t opted for postal mailing, you can send Form W-2c after the SSA accepts it. To send the forms, you can download the form from Print Center and print and furnish it manually or email it directly from your account dashboard.
