What copies of W-2 do employees get?

An employer has to issue the following three copies of W2 to the employee by January 31 of each year.
- Copy B: To be used in reporting the employee's federal tax return
- Copy 2: To be used in reporting the employee's state, city or local tax return
- Copy C: For employee's records
