If you choose EFTPS as the payment method when you file Form 2290, it’s your responsibility to initiate payment before the deadline.
Visit the EFTPS website and initiate the payment after your return has been processed. If you don’t have an EFTPS account, you can enroll for an account. Please note that it may take up to 15 days to set up your account.
